Cityscapes
Rather than simply reproducing a view, Bené seeks to capture the feeling of a city through his distinctive textured style. Clients particularly admire the way he portrays light and shadow, as well as the reflections dancing across water. From a distance, his paintings can appear detailed and precise; yet as you move closer, the image begins to dissolve into expressive marks and touches of paint.
Travel has always been an important source of inspiration for Bené. Each city carries its own rhythm, atmosphere, and energy, and through his paintings he captures the places that leave a lasting impression on him.
His travels continue to lead him to new places, each offering a different story to discover and paint.
